The following principles should be followed when selecting and installing pipes
A , Because the length of the pipeline is not proportional to the pressure loss along the way ,
the length of the pipe-line should be minimized (generally not more than 4 m ) .
B , Since the number of bends of the pipe is proportional to the local pressure loss ,
the number of corners should be reduced as much as possible .
C .Since the pressure loss of the circular cross-section is smaller than other shapes ,
circular pipes should be used as much as possible .
